boxing day...

Just want to share pictures of my boxing day purchases.  Our friend Tammie was nice enough to drive us to Toronto to Stampingbella.  What a great place.  They had an amazing boxing day sale going on.  The whole store was 45% off if you paid cash, how great is that!

I can't wait to make some cards!!!  I already have an idea for a Christmas card which I might just have to make and save for next year.

Let's Eat...

So I don't know about anyone else but for me Christmas time feels like a time of nothing but eating. Everywhere you go people want you to eat and each Christmas we go is based around a meal time.  So now that the pie is made I can start my Christmas eating.  Tonight we go to church than come back to eat pizza.  Somehow pizza has become our Christmas eve meal.  Than in the morning we are off to my parents for brunch, than to Chris's parents for dinner.  Hope you all have a great Christmas.  Happy eating!!!

Are you ready??

Well it's almost here!!!  And as always we are excited.  Just a few last minute things to get done.  Bake a pie, wrap a couple gifts, nothing to bad.   I love Christmas.  It's my favorite holiday.
 Tonight we had nothing to do so we are checking out Net Flix.  It is working pretty good.  We have a free month trial.  
 Well since all the Christmas cards have been mailed out I can share some of them with you but I am sure you are all sick of seeing them so I am going to share some of my black and white wedding album with you instead.

snow day

So I have nothing else to do on a snowy day.  I haven't even got out of my pj's.  So I was on you tube one day looking for inspiration and came across a wreath made with ribbon and thought I would like to make one.  Well at first I thought this project was going to be easy.  I went out on a wednesday after I was done work to pick up some supplies, but was unable to find a styrofoam ring, so yesterday I sent Chris to Micheal's for me and he found one.  It was bigger than what I was going to use but thought it would work great because I had lots of ribbon  So I was excited to get started but as I was going I realized I wasn't going to have enough ribbon.  Well that's ok we can stop on our way to his work Christmas party and get more.  So we did.  Well I got home last night and cut up my ribbon and got started on the wreath.  I now think that it is going to take way longer than expected, but its going to look great when its done.

I also got some nice snow pictures of the snow we got today to share as well.

Not a Christmas Card

Hello,

 Well  I must be getting brave.  I joined the forum at SQ and did a couple of the challenges.  Now if I could only find away to have more time to scrapbook and make cards.  Work takes up way too much time.  I am looking forward to having time off at Christmas this year and I hope to get in some scrapbooking with my girls.  I have been working on my wedding book since I got married but more seriously over the last couple years and I would really like to get more done.

Christmas Shopping

 So the husband and I went out and did our Christmas shopping today, and I am glad to say that we are about 98% finished, which feels really good.  We went out for lunch at Jack's today.  It's a new place out by the farmers market. We had a great meal.  Chris had a sandwich and I have to share the picture because it was soooo huge, I'm not sure how he didn't get any on him trying to eat it.

Deck the halls....

Well I finally got to it and got up the tree and decorations around the house.  I have a good collection of hand-me-downs but they work just fine for us.  Now all we need to do is some more shopping and we will be all set for the holidays.  I cannot believe how fast it is coming, feels like just yesterday I started my new job and its already been 3 months.

 ok is it just me or does my tree have a lean to it???
